AI took center stage at this year’s conference for digital health decision-makers, with a strong focus on how AI Agents and automation will shape the future of healthcare.
Every year, thousands of healthcare leaders gather at ViVE to focus on the business of transformation in healthcare. Healthcare providers, payers, suppliers, health IT security professionals, policymakers, investors, and more met up in Nashville, Tennessee, this February to discuss emerging trends and innovative ways to solve the industry’s biggest challenges.
Notable sent an all-star team to ViVE to showcase how our proven AI Platform and Intelligent Agents are driving workforce productivity and easing administrative burden.
From inspiring keynotes and impactful conversations with other industry professionals, here’s what our team took away from ViVE.
Dr. Aaron Neinstein, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Notable, observed that industry professionals are feeling “a mixture of thrill and trepidation as they think about our AI future. They understand the immense power of these tools and are eager to harness them to drive outcomes once believed impossible, and at the same time, they are appropriately concerned about maximizing benefits while mitigating potential risks.”
Dr. Neinstein also noted that CIOs and CMIOs are rapidly becoming shapers and drivers of an AI Agent-driven future. The leaders in these vital roles see the opportunities to improve patient outcomes and give their care teams' superpowers and are enthusiastic about leveraging AI to help them achieve these goals.
“The excitement around agentic automation was palpable,” agreed Daniel Carrizales, Solutions Engineer at Notable.
“It was very clear at ViVE that point solutions are just one more tool to integrate, and nobody wants this fragmentation in their tech stack anymore,” said Tushar Garg, Product Manager at Notable. Garg noted that agentic platforms are the key to consolidating tech solutions, with health systems of all sizes looking for tools that give their teams new capabilities while allowing them to stay within their current workflows.
Dayne Hoffman, Revenue Cycle Solutions Lead at Notable, agreed and emphasized the importance of showcasing everything that can be achieved through an integrated platform. “Having a clear anchor point or specific problem that Notable can address is essential. From there, we can guide decision-makers to see how our various components and flows can apply to other use cases, opening up a world of opportunities. And it was great to have the opportunity to demonstrate that live on the show floor at ViVE.”
Over the course of ViVE, the Notable team saw the immense power of allowing people to interact and engage directly with AI capabilities, including the visceral joy of seeing AI able to handle manual tasks like voice calls, prior authorizations, and faxed referral transcription. Letting IT and operational leaders get hands on with Flow Builder showed them how much easier it is getting to create custom AI Agents to perform work that currently drags their teams down.
With agentic AI becoming more prolific in the healthcare industry, showing how automation can be deployed quickly and efficiently integrated into current workflows is a vital way to stand out. “Speed matters,” said Garg. “AI is moving at lightning speed, and the solution providers that can deploy quickly, at scale, and into existing workflows will be the winners in agentic AI.”
Finally, the level of excitement that resulted from the meetings, panels, and networking events at ViVE was a refreshing reminder of why we do what we do at Notable.
“At the end of each day, our team came away feeling energized by the inspiring conversations with healthcare leaders eager to transform care,” concluded Dave Henriksen, Head of Value Based Care at Notable.
